Standard stocked cord lengths are 20, 40, and 60 feet. Longer 80 and 100 foot cords can be arranged as special-order accessories.

GenerLink is designed for standard household electric services of 200 amps or less with 2S meter compatibility.

  1. Turn off the home circuit breakers before connecting generator power.
  2. ⚙️Position the generator safely outdoors and connect the GenerLok cord to the matching generator outlet.
  3. 🔌Plug the GenerLok cord into the GenerLink receptacle until it locks in place.
  4. ▶️Start the generator using the manufacturer’s instructions, then energize home circuits one at a time starting with larger motor loads.
  5. When utility power returns, shut down the generator, wait for the transfer back to utility power, and then disconnect the cord.

Why should I choose surge protection?

Surge protection is recommended unless the home already has a whole-home surge device on the main electrical panel. The surge module includes an audible alarm so you know if it has taken a hit.

What sizes do the GenerLinks come in?

GenerLink units are available in 30A and 40A configurations. There is no 50A GenerLink unit; customers with a 50A-style generator outlet are typically matched to the 40A model with a 14-50 plug.

What plug style will I need?
